Usui Reiki Courses

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is Japanese for ‘universal life energy’, and is also a word used to describe a system of natural healing. This tradition was founded by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century and evolved as a result of his research, experience, and dedication. Today there are many variations of Reiki but my courses follow the traditional teachings as closely as possible and all attendees receive a lineage showing their Reiki heritage all the way back to Usui himself.

Reiki I

Reiki for Self Healing

This 2-day course is the first step on your Reiki journey. No experience is required and everyone is welcome.

This course covers:

  • History of Reiki
  • self-healing with Reiki
  • using Reiki for friends and family
  • Reiki techniques
  • the Human Energy Field and chakra system

Cost: £150 including manual and certificate.

Reiki I is primarily for self-healing and you must complete this course if you wish to move on to Reiki II at any point.

Reiki II

Reiki Practitioner

This is a 2-day course for those wishing to use Usui Reiki in their practice for paying clients.

This course covers:

  • Reiki techniques
  • Reiki symbols
  • Distance healing
  • Becoming a Reiki practitioner
  • Working with clients

Cost: £200 including manual and certificate.

Reiki I is a pre-requisite for this course and you must have been attuned to Reiki I for at least three months.

Reiki Master

Once you have completed Reiki I and Reiki II you may apply to become a Reiki Master. In the Usui Reiki system that I have been taught, becoming a Reiki Master is only considered as and when you wish to teach Reiki to others. As such it is not offered regularly as being a Reiki Practitioner (Reiki II) is enough for most students.

If you do wish to apply, you must have been a Reiki Practitioner for at least one year and meet the prerequisites of the course including case studies and evidence of personal development. Please contact me directly for full application requirements.

Holly is a very warm and gifted Reiki teacher. She is so down to earth and has a fantastic sense of humour which immediately puts you at ease. Holly encourages her students to interact as a group and this is a very rewarding and integral part of her hands-on approach. Expect lashings of entertaining stories! As students, we were able to ask loads of questions. Her advice and support were of immense value then and will be in the months and years to come.
